# 作业帮 vs 象棋助手

The clearest difference is rating: 象棋助手 at 5.0 against 作业帮's 4.5. 象棋助手 also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). 作业帮's advantage is ratings volume (3.4K vs 1) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 作业帮 sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and 象棋助手 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

象棋助手 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 作业帮 has 3.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

作业帮 ships an update every 11 days, 象棋助手 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
