# Numerical³ vs WaterCo

The clearest difference is rating: Numerical³ at 4.8 against WaterCo's 1.0. Numerical³ also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). WaterCo's advantage is monetization model (free vs paid) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Numerical³ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Numerical³ has 1.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Numerical³ ships an update every 2 weeks, WaterCo monthly. Both last shipped on October 9, 2026.
