# XPSView vs Winmail Viewer

The clearest difference is rating: XPSView at 4.5 against Winmail Viewer's 2.0. XPSView also leads on review sentiment (52% vs 25%) and ratings volume (54 vs 1). Winmail Viewer's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. XPSView sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Winmail Viewer sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

XPSView holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XPSView has 54 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 52% of XPSView's written reviews are positive against 25% of Winmail Viewer's.
