# XPSView vs elsbuly

The clearest difference is update cadence: elsbuly at every 3 weeks against XPSView's every 5 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. XPSView sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and elsbuly sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

XPSView ships an update every 5 months, elsbuly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
