# Rapchat vs Vocal Ninja

The clearest difference is ads: Rapchat at none against Vocal Ninja's shown. Rapchat also leads on ratings volume (99K vs 57) and chart position (#102 vs unranked). Vocal Ninja's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 62%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rapchat sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Vocal Ninja sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Rapchat against 4.6 for Vocal Ninja. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rapchat has 99K ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of Rapchat's written reviews are positive against 80% of Vocal Ninja's.
