# Rapchat vs Medly

Rapchat and Medly both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 74% of Medly's written reviews are positive against 62% of Rapchat's. Rapchat's advantage is chart position (#109 vs unranked) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 days). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rapchat sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Medly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Rapchat against 4.6 for Medly. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 99K and 39K respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of Rapchat's written reviews are positive against 74% of Medly's.
