# Chemcel e vs Security Service Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Security Service Mobile at 2.6 against Chemcel e's 2.0. Security Service Mobile also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 22 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 3). Chemcel e's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 7%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Security Service Mobile holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Security Service Mobile has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Chemcel e's written reviews are positive against 7% of Security Service Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chemcel e ships an update every 22 months, Security Service Mobile every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
