# Pendo Note vs LiveNote

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Pendo Note at 840 against LiveNote's 5. Pendo Note also leads on review sentiment (90% vs 79%). LiveNote's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.4). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pendo Note sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and LiveNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Pendo Note against 4.8 for LiveNote. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pendo Note has 840 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of Pendo Note's written reviews are positive against 79% of LiveNote's.

Pendo Note ships an update every 11 days, LiveNote every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
