# Sat Scope vs SwizzVPN

The clearest difference is rating: SwizzVPN at 4.6 against Sat Scope's 4.0. SwizzVPN also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 26 months) and ratings volume (166 vs 25). Sat Scope's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SwizzVPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Sat Scope asks for nothing beyond the download.

SwizzVPN holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SwizzVPN has 166 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Sat Scope's written reviews are positive against 64% of SwizzVPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sat Scope ships an update every 26 months, SwizzVPN fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
