# Sat Scope vs DishAim

The clearest difference is rating: Sat Scope at 4.0 against DishAim's 3.0. Sat Scope also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (25 vs 4). DishAim's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 26 months). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DishAim sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Sat Scope asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sat Scope holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sat Scope has 25 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sat Scope ships an update every 26 months, DishAim every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
