# DigiSlate vs Slatable

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DigiSlate at 76% against Slatable's 31%. DigiSlate also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). Slatable's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.9) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DigiSlate sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Slatable sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Slatable holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Slatable has 691 ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of DigiSlate's written reviews are positive against 31% of Slatable's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DigiSlate ships an update monthly, Slatable every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
