# DigiSlate vs Donna

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Donna at none against DigiSlate's 2. Donna also leads on rating (4.3 vs 3.9) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). DigiSlate's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (48 vs 10). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DigiSlate sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Donna asks for nothing beyond the download.

Donna holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 48 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of DigiSlate's written reviews are positive against 71% of Donna's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DigiSlate ships an update monthly, Donna every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
