# Tynker vs Wyz Create

Tynker and Wyz Create both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 91% of Wyz Create's written reviews are positive against 56% of Tynker's. Wyz Create also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Tynker's advantage is ratings volume (18K vs 20). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tynker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month and Wyz Create sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tynker holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tynker has 18K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Tynker's written reviews are positive against 91% of Wyz Create's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tynker ships an update every 3 weeks, Wyz Create fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
