# InstAddr vs Paste Keyboard

The clearest difference is update cadence: Paste Keyboard at weekly against InstAddr's monthly. Paste Keyboard also leads on ratings volume (44K vs 956) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). InstAddr's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 71%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InstAddr sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Paste Keyboard sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Paste Keyboard holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paste Keyboard has 44K ratings behind it against 956, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of InstAddr's written reviews are positive against 71% of Paste Keyboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

InstAddr ships an update monthly, Paste Keyboard weekly. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
