# InstAddr vs AlwaysHome Mobile

The clearest difference is monetization model: InstAddr at free with in-app purchases against AlwaysHome Mobile's subscription. AlwaysHome Mobile's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InstAddr sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and AlwaysHome Mobile sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AlwaysHome Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 958 and 2.9K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of InstAddr's written reviews are positive against 80% of AlwaysHome Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

InstAddr ships an update monthly, AlwaysHome Mobile every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
