# Peak vs Lateral+

The clearest difference is ads: Lateral+ at none against Peak's shown. Lateral+ also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Peak's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Peak sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Lateral+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Peak ships an update fortnightly, Lateral+ every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
