# Peak vs Fathomly

The clearest difference is rating: Peak at 4.7 against Fathomly's 4.0. Peak also leads on ratings volume (146K vs 2). Fathomly's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Peak sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Fathomly sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Peak holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Peak has 146K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Peak ships an update fortnightly, Fathomly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
