# Taskmator vs Metaslip

The clearest difference is price: Metaslip at Free against Taskmator's $4.99. Metaslip also leads on review sentiment (85% vs 59%). Taskmator's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Metaslip is free to download; Taskmator costs $4.99 up front. Metaslip sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year. Taskmator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Taskmator holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Taskmator has 232 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Taskmator's written reviews are positive against 85% of Metaslip's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Taskmator ships an update weekly, Metaslip every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
