# BigPumpkins vs bumpdate

The clearest difference is ratings volume: bumpdate at 58 against BigPumpkins's 3. bumpdate also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for BigPumpkins against 4.6 for bumpdate. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: bumpdate has 58 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BigPumpkins ships an update every 3 months, bumpdate every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
