# 7 Minute Workout vs Easy Workout by Shapely

7 Minute Workout and Easy Workout by Shapely both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of 7 Minute Workout's written reviews are positive against 50% of Easy Workout by Shapely's. 7 Minute Workout also leads on ratings volume (124K vs 1). Easy Workout by Shapely's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 7 Minute Workout sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Easy Workout by Shapely sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Easy Workout by Shapely holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 7 Minute Workout has 124K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of 7 Minute Workout's written reviews are positive against 50% of Easy Workout by Shapely's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

7 Minute Workout ships an update every 2 weeks, Easy Workout by Shapely every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
