# Colorful Note vs Easy Note 2

The clearest difference is update cadence: Easy Note 2 at every 3 months against Colorful Note's every 41 months. Easy Note 2 also leads on ratings volume (35 vs 2) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Colorful Note's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 79%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Easy Note 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Easy Note 2 has 35 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Colorful Note's written reviews are positive against 79% of Easy Note 2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Colorful Note ships an update every 41 months, Easy Note 2 every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
