# Lie Detector vs iBodyCount

The clearest difference is ads: iBodyCount at none against Lie Detector's shown. iBodyCount also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 months). Lie Detector's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.6). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lie Detector sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and iBodyCount sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lie Detector ships an update every 8 months, iBodyCount every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
