# DAILYLOOK vs Refined Grey

The clearest difference is monetization model: Refined Grey at free against DAILYLOOK's free with in-app purchases. Refined Grey also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.1). DAILYLOOK's advantage is ratings volume (2.9K vs 7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Refined Grey holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DAILYLOOK has 2.9K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DAILYLOOK ships an update every 3 months, Refined Grey every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
