# FOREVER® vs Ultimate Backup App

The clearest difference is rating: Ultimate Backup App at 4.6 against FOREVER®'s 4.0. Ultimate Backup App also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). FOREVER®'s advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 50%) and ratings volume (280 vs 59). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FOREVER® sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and Ultimate Backup App sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ultimate Backup App holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 280 and 59 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of FOREVER®'s written reviews are positive against 50% of Ultimate Backup App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FOREVER® ships an update every 3 weeks, Ultimate Backup App every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
