# FLO EV Charging vs ShuttleControl Driver

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ShuttleControl Driver at 100% against FLO EV Charging's 35%. ShuttleControl Driver also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). FLO EV Charging's advantage is ratings volume (5.2K vs 2) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FLO EV Charging holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FLO EV Charging has 5.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of FLO EV Charging's written reviews are positive against 100% of ShuttleControl Driver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FLO EV Charging ships an update every 6 weeks, ShuttleControl Driver every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
