# Preside email vs Good Sam Mail Service

The clearest difference is rating: Preside email at 4.8 against Good Sam Mail Service's 3.8. Preside email also leads on ratings volume (184 vs 6) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Good Sam Mail Service's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Preside email sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Good Sam Mail Service asks for nothing beyond the download.

Preside email holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Preside email has 184 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Preside email's written reviews are positive against 100% of Good Sam Mail Service's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
