# Posthaus vs Schutz

Posthaus and Schutz both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 94% of Posthaus's written reviews are positive against 59% of Schutz's. Posthaus also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Schutz's advantage is ratings volume (50K vs 75). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Posthaus against 4.9 for Schutz. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Schutz has 50K ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 94% of Posthaus's written reviews are positive against 59% of Schutz's.

Posthaus ships an update weekly, Schutz monthly. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
