# LoungeKey vs Vago

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Vago at 100% against LoungeKey's 22%. LoungeKey's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LoungeKey holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LoungeKey has 17K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of LoungeKey's written reviews are positive against 100% of Vago's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LoungeKey ships an update fortnightly, Vago every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
