# Enjoy the Sunset vs Widget Timer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Enjoy the Sunset at none against Widget Timer's 3. Enjoy the Sunset also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 18.0). Widget Timer's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months) and rating (4.1 vs 3.8). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widget Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Enjoy the Sunset asks for nothing beyond the download.

Widget Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Widget Timer has 181 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Enjoy the Sunset's written reviews are positive against 45% of Widget Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Enjoy the Sunset ships an update every 8 months, Widget Timer fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
