# Patchim Training vs Hangul

Patchim Training and Hangul both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Patchim Training's written reviews are positive against 47% of Hangul's. Patchim Training also leads on iOS requirement (13 vs 15.1). Hangul's advantage is ratings volume (697 vs 136). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Patchim Training sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Hangul sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Patchim Training against 4.8 for Hangul. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hangul has 697 ratings behind it against 136, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 80% of Patchim Training's written reviews are positive against 47% of Hangul's.

Patchim Training ships an update every 4 weeks, Hangul every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
