# Stash2Go Lite vs Knit Bucket

The clearest difference is rating: Knit Bucket at 3.3 against Stash2Go Lite's 2.7. Knit Bucket also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Stash2Go Lite's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 4) and review sentiment (42% vs 33%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Knit Bucket holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stash2Go Lite has 35 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Stash2Go Lite's written reviews are positive against 33% of Knit Bucket's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stash2Go Lite ships an update every 2 months, Knit Bucket every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
