# Font vs Shadow Computer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Shadow Computer at none against Font's 10. Shadow Computer also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Font's advantage is ratings volume (6.2K vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Font sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Shadow Computer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Shadow Computer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Font has 6.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
