# Font vs Icon Changer

The clearest difference is rating: Font at 4.6 against Icon Changer's 3.5. Font also leads on ratings volume (6.2K vs 2). Icon Changer's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Font sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Icon Changer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Font holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Font has 6.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Font's written reviews are positive against 100% of Icon Changer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Font ships an update every 5 weeks, Icon Changer every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
