# Font vs KeyboardKit

The clearest difference is ads: KeyboardKit at none against Font's shown. KeyboardKit also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Font's advantage is review sentiment (85% vs 52%) and ratings volume (6.2K vs 83). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Font sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and KeyboardKit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Font holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Font has 6.2K ratings behind it against 83, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of Font's written reviews are positive against 52% of KeyboardKit's.

Font ships an update every 5 weeks, KeyboardKit fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
