# Font vs Fonts for Procreate+

Font and Fonts for Procreate+ both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 85% of Font's written reviews are positive against 33% of Fonts for Procreate+'s. Font also leads on ratings volume (6.2K vs 80) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Fonts for Procreate+'s advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Font sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Fonts for Procreate+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Font against 4.5 for Fonts for Procreate+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Font has 6.2K ratings behind it against 80, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 85% of Font's written reviews are positive against 33% of Fonts for Procreate+'s.

Font ships an update every 5 weeks, Fonts for Procreate+ daily. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
