# WordDive vs Speakly

The clearest difference is monetization model: Speakly at free with in-app purchases against WordDive's subscription. Speakly also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). WordDive's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and review sentiment (64% vs 49%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WordDive sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Speakly sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
