# Johnson Controls Security Mngt vs CHeKT.com

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CHeKT.com at 100% against Johnson Controls Security Mngt's 4%. CHeKT.com also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription). Johnson Controls Security Mngt's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 8). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Johnson Controls Security Mngt holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Johnson Controls Security Mngt has 1.9K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 4% of Johnson Controls Security Mngt's written reviews are positive against 100% of CHeKT.com's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Johnson Controls Security Mngt ships an update every 6 weeks, CHeKT.com every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
