# FireSync Shift Calendar vs Treering Time Employee

The clearest difference is rating: FireSync Shift Calendar at 4.8 against Treering Time Employee's 3.7. FireSync Shift Calendar also leads on ratings volume (9.1K vs 3). Treering Time Employee's advantage is monetization model (free vs paid) and review sentiment (100% vs 70%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FireSync Shift Calendar holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FireSync Shift Calendar has 9.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of FireSync Shift Calendar's written reviews are positive against 100% of Treering Time Employee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FireSync Shift Calendar ships an update every 2 months, Treering Time Employee every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
