# Happy Pudding Flap vs Dash Tag

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dash Tag at monthly against Happy Pudding Flap's every 6 months. Dash Tag also leads on ratings volume (4K vs 12) and review sentiment (79% vs 64%). Happy Pudding Flap's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 11.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Happy Pudding Flap sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Dash Tag sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Happy Pudding Flap holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dash Tag has 4K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Happy Pudding Flap's written reviews are positive against 79% of Dash Tag's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Happy Pudding Flap ships an update every 6 months, Dash Tag monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
