# Azangoo vs iShia

The clearest difference is monetization model: Azangoo at free against iShia's free with in-app purchases. Azangoo also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (21K vs 1.4K). iShia's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Azangoo holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Azangoo has 21K ratings behind it against 1.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Azangoo's written reviews are positive against 79% of iShia's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Azangoo ships an update every 2 months, iShia every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
