# Rotex vs Hitori Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hitori Pro at 100% against Rotex's 50%. Hitori Pro also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). Rotex's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 10). On price, ratings volume, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Rotex costs $0.99 and Hitori Pro $0.99 up front. Hitori Pro sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Rotex asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rotex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Rotex's written reviews are positive against 100% of Hitori Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rotex ships an update every 5 months, Hitori Pro monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
