# Army Chess King vs VSPocket

Army Chess King and VSPocket both sit at 3.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of VSPocket's written reviews are positive against 48% of Army Chess King's. On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Army Chess King holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Army Chess King's written reviews are positive against 100% of VSPocket's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
