# FloodSearch vs RPR Mobile™

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RPR Mobile™ at none against FloodSearch's 4. RPR Mobile™ also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 1) and review sentiment (51% vs 40%). FloodSearch's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FloodSearch sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. RPR Mobile™ asks for nothing beyond the download.

FloodSearch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RPR Mobile™ has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of FloodSearch's written reviews are positive against 51% of RPR Mobile™'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FloodSearch ships an update monthly, RPR Mobile™ every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
