# Tappy Cat vs Runner Cat

The clearest difference is update cadence: Runner Cat at every 5 months against Tappy Cat's every 85 months. Tappy Cat's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tappy Cat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Runner Cat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tappy Cat ships an update every 85 months, Runner Cat every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
