# Vernier Go Wireless vs x2VOL_

The clearest difference is rating: x2VOL_ at 4.2 against Vernier Go Wireless's 2.9. x2VOL_ also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 15). Vernier Go Wireless's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 15%) and iOS requirement (7.1 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

x2VOL_ holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: x2VOL_ has 1.4K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Vernier Go Wireless's written reviews are positive against 15% of x2VOL_'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vernier Go Wireless ships an update every 2 months, x2VOL_ every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
