# MTailor vs The Tech Deck

The clearest difference is rating: The Tech Deck at 5.0 against MTailor's 4.6. The Tech Deck also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). MTailor's advantage is ratings volume (5K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Tech Deck holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MTailor has 5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MTailor ships an update every 2 weeks, The Tech Deck every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
