# Subway Simulator 3D vs DNGRZ

The clearest difference is rating: DNGRZ at 4.4 against Subway Simulator 3D's 3.9. DNGRZ also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). Subway Simulator 3D's advantage is ratings volume (5.3K vs 7). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Subway Simulator 3D sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and DNGRZ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DNGRZ holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Subway Simulator 3D has 5.3K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Subway Simulator 3D ships an update every 3 weeks, DNGRZ every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
