# TestNav vs Lexia PowerUp

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lexia PowerUp at monthly against TestNav's every 8 months. Lexia PowerUp also leads on rating (2.0 vs 1.6) and ratings volume (874 vs 104). TestNav's advantage is review sentiment (24% vs 15%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lexia PowerUp holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lexia PowerUp has 874 ratings behind it against 104, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of TestNav's written reviews are positive against 15% of Lexia PowerUp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TestNav ships an update every 8 months, Lexia PowerUp monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
