# TestNav vs Sadlier Reader

The clearest difference is rating: Sadlier Reader at 3.7 against TestNav's 1.6. Sadlier Reader also leads on device support (3 vs 1). TestNav's advantage is review sentiment (24% vs 0%) and ratings volume (104 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sadlier Reader holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TestNav has 104 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of TestNav's written reviews are positive against 0% of Sadlier Reader's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TestNav ships an update every 8 months, Sadlier Reader every 25 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
