# RideUp vs KepApp

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: KepApp at none against RideUp's 1. RideUp's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RideUp sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. KepApp asks for nothing beyond the download.

RideUp ships an update every 3 weeks, KepApp every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
